Sigra has a substantial research and development capacity. All of the techniques and items of equipment described in this web site have been developed in-house. This capacity spans a wide range of disciplines including civil, drilling, electronic, mechanical and mining engineering. Most of the applications to date have been in the fields of drilling, mining, geotechnical and coal seam methane reservoir engineering. Sigra's capability to innovate and design outside of this field is however exemplified by the urban rainwater system.
